Ethanol
Ethanol is a renewable biofuel and an immediate solution to climate change as a clean, low-carbon energy source.
It is produced in Paraguay at an accessible cost without relying on imports of petroleum derivatives subject to international pricing, which prevents foreign exchange outflow from the country. It serves as a means through which agriculture and rural areas contribute to a sustainable future, empowering the national industry.
In Paraguay, each liter of gasoline contains a minimum of 25% ethanol. Due to their capacity and octane, the blends of ethanol with regular gasoline improve engine performance and reduce environmental impacts, resulting in lower costs for consumers.
Fuel Ethanol
96% volume for use as fuel in flex-fuel vehicles.
Anhydrous Ethanol
99.5% volume for blending with regular gasoline.
Distillers Grains
Distillers grains are a product obtained from ethanol production through the fermentation process of starches in cereal grains. 750 grams of high-quality animal feed with valuable protein content is obtained for every liter of ethanol produced.
It serves primarily as a source of energy and protein in livestock diets. Distillers grains are highly palatable and easily consumable, making them an excellent choice for animal nutrition.
Wet Distillers Grains
35% solids, minimum 35% protein, 7% fat, 10% fiber (on a dry matter basis).
Dry Distillers Grains
92% solids, minimum 35% protein, 7% fat, 10% fiber.
